GAMERS DECIDE Дота

The mystical and enormous jungle on the Dota map holds many secrets. But there is no secret when it comes to the best junglers in the game right now. These heroes are often overlooked but their farming capabilities, ganking potential, and sustain have earned them a spot on this list.

The right junglers can dominate the battlefield while the wrong ones can cause destruction (of your MMR) in the current meta. Hence lots of players are puzzled by the variety of heroes in the game. We have compiled a list of the top 10 best Junglers that wreck hard!

The jungle is often a topic of debate in Dota, the mysterious forest is home to various mythical creatures, and there is a vast list of heroes who benefit from jungling over laning. Jungling right from the early levels is quite painful, but it is advantageous later on when you can stand your ground against the creatures that rule the jungle. In certain situations, farming the jungle can save you from the enemy onslaught, as well as provide you the exciting neutral items. The best heroes take advantage of this, as some possess in-built powers to dominate the game. These heroes are often overlooked but their farming capabilities, ganking potential, and sustain have earned them a spot on this list.

With the right jungler, you can eviscerate the entire jungle as well as the enemy team in no time. We rank the Best 10 Jungler heroes in the current meta. These heroes are highly lethal and do not leave any stone unturned when it comes to dominating any matchup that they face.

I guess you probably shouldn’t play jungler early on because you are going to be playing with new players such as you. Since no one really knows how to pick the heroes properly and don’t know where each one should go, it means that someone will lane alone with a hero that usually needs help and can die easily against two heroes (or in best case scenario just not accomplish anything on his/her own).

-Enigma (don’t pick him. you need to control multiple units) -Legion Commander (people hate it because a lot of players that use her in the jungle are idiots)-Nature’s Profit (not exactly a good hero for a beginner either)-Enchantress (I see people playing her more in the offlane than in the jungle these days. she needs to control multiple units as well)-Lifestealer (awful jungler. doesn’t farm as rapidly as other junglers can. works best in the lane imo)-Ursa (can be ok, but you probably want him in the lane as well)-Lycan (I don’t play him and I barely see him. Can’t offer any opinion about him)-Crystal Maiden (support. no one wants to play support early on. doesn’t farm fast there, but the point of having her in the jungle is so she can have her own farm while helping the team with ganks and other support thingies)-Axe (not a very good hero in this patch and his jungle is just ok. I would avoid if I were you)

And last, but not least, Lion. He’s the king of the jungle after all. (don’t do that for everyone’s sake).

Before trying to jungle with anyone, I recommend you to watch a guide before. If you go to the jungle without knowing what you should do, chances are, you are going to die to the creeps or get almost no farm.

Mogul Khan, the Axe is a fierce and lethal war general! He is an exceptional laner and leaves no stones unturned against melee heroes. The latter finds it hard to lane against Axe as he is constantly harassed and shoved off the lane with both Battle Hunger and Counter Helix. Just like a typical carry hero, Axe is also relevant through the late game, but the latter prevails as he has high armor and HP, and does not falter easily. He can always jungle to acquire his Blink if he somehow has a difficult laning phase. Not all heroes can deal ungodly amounts of damage like Axe does, right from the early game.

Even a farmed enemy core can succumb to one Axe Blink Call due to the immense damage dished back to him with the help of Blademail and Counter Helix Spins. Void simply can’t do much to Axe when he obtains items like Black King Bar and Blademail, rendering the former quite useless. As the warmonger is tanky, most enemies can’t penetrate his armor, ignoring him largely in teamfights. Even if the enemies manage to hit Axe hard, they may just be susceptible to the Counter Helix spins, which can mow them down within no time if they are reckless!

What Makes Axe a fearsome Jungler?

  • Counter Helix passive deals massive AoE damage in the later levels.
  • High base attack speed and armor.
  • Call gives a bonus of 30 armor, allowing him to deal more damage to the neutral creeps.
  • High DPS and movement speed make it easy to farm faster, hence accelerating his farm.
  • Decent talent tree that scales well with the right item build.

Top 5 Best End-Game items for Axe

  • Blademail — Reflects enemy damage to him upon activation. This is a staple item on Axe, as he has enough HP to tank through the damage while reflecting it to the enemy carry, it can make him ignore you in fights.
  • Aghanim’s Scepter and Shard — AoE Battle Hunger and reduced CD on spells
  • Force Staff — Allows you to force yourself or the targeted unit 600 units ahead in the direction they are facing, it can be useful to catch or escape from enemies.
  • Black King Bar — Provides spell immunity, making Axe invulnerable in the fight.

Axe is strong against

  • Phantom Lancer — Berserker’s Call catches Phantom Lancer when he is hidden among his illusions.
  • Troll Warlord — Battle Trance does not save Troll Warlord from a Culling Blade.
  • Berserker’s Call is one of the best ways to lock down Weaver before he has a chance to use Time Lapse. It can also catch Weaver in Shukuchi.

Axe is weak against

  • Outworld Destroyer — Outworld Destroyer’s pure and magical damage is particularly effective against Axe.
  • Ursa — Enrage reduces the damage from Blade Mail and Counter Helix to a minimum, forcing Axe to play around Ursa’s ultimate ability.
  • Pugna — Decrepify can be used on allies to prevent them from attacking Axe and triggering Counter Helix during Berserker’s Call. He can also cast it on Axe to prevent anyone from attacking him.

Bloodseeker

The cold-blooded hunter Bloodseeker is known for his mania and vigor. His blades cut deep into his foes, he leaves them bleeding and heavily wounded. He is a lethal force that can never go unnoticed. Bloodseeker can effortlessly jungle or lane, as he is blessed with high base armor as well as high attack speed. His passive sustain him in the lane, allowing him to play aggressively. He can gank other lanes with the availability of his ultimate, often removing heroes from a team fight.

Bloodseeker is highly relevant right from the laning phase as his damage is significant enough to deal some serious damage right from the get-go. If combined with solid laning support, there is no way the enemy heroes get a chance to escape alive in the initial stages of the game. Even if the game does not go well for Bloodseeker, he can always retreat to the jungle where he can farm and sustain himself quite effortlessly with his spells.

What Makes Bloodseeker a fearsome Jungler?

  • Thirst provides increased movement speed and vision to hunt and kill low HP enemies.
  • Gains a maximum of 25% of unit health as heal after killing them, which makes him sustainable as a jungler.
  • Massive AoE of Blood Rite, if used efficiently, can lead to both enemy and neutral kills.
  • High base attack speed is amplified by Bloodrage.

Top 5 Best End-Game items for Bloodseeker

  • Mjolnir — Provides a chance to do lightning AoE damage to enemies that attack Bloodseeker, while also dealing damage when he is attacking others.
  • Black King Bar — Provides spell immunity from all enemy magic damage spells, making Bloodseeker invulnerable in the fight.
  • Sange and Yasha — Provide decent stats, agility, strength, and physical damage. SnY also provides status resistance and increased movement speed, making Bloodseeker fast and stronger against his foes.
  • Abyssal Blade — Upon cast, it stuns the targeted hero for 2 seconds. Can be used to quickly lock down enemies, allowing Bloodseeker to beat them down with the physical damage
  • Monkey King Bar — Provides a chance to truly strike upon physical attacks while also providing increased damage to Bloodseeker.

Bloodseeker is strong against

  • Clinkz — Skeleton Walk is not enough to outrun Bloodseeker, and is detected by Thirst.
  • Meepo — Bloodseeker can chase down retreating clones when Meepo tries to cycle weaker clones away from combat.
  • Slark -Bloodseeker is one of the hardest counters to Slark. Thirst prevents Slark from healing in the lane with Shadow Dance and may set him up for a kill while in the jungle, or retreating.

Bloodseeker is weak against

  • Faceless Void — Chronosphere prevents Bloodseeker from running down and picking off weak enemies during teamfights.
  • Omniknight — Guardian Angel’s near invulnerability denies Bloodseeker the bonuses from Thirst, preventing him from gaining the upper hand in teamfights.
  • Tinker — Laser blinds Bloodseeker, preventing him from getting last hits and denies during the laning stage and preventing him from finishing off enemies.

Axe

This ax-clad general knows his ways around war. His humongous stature combined with the sharp ax is a menace for his foes. Axe is considered to be one of the best initiators and junglers in the game. What makes Axe the best jungler?

Anti-Mage

Magina, the Anti-Mage. Ready to put an end to all magic.

In order to jungle proactively, this hero needs a rather expensive item called Battlefury.  This itemenables Anti-Mage to farm faster and also split push.

What makes Anti-Mage a good jungler?

The simple answer to this is because he can blink. After getting his Battlefury Anti-Mage starts jumping from camp to camp and farms in a really fast fashion.

Battlefury gives him the health and mana regeneration he needs and also lets him cleave.

This ability allows Anti-Mage to blink/flash.

Doom

The harbinger of bad news, Doom is a devastating enemy to phase if you are playing a squishy hero. This demon has sent countless of his enemies to the realm of hell, and the thundergod is no exception! His abilities are highly lethal, as they deal high damage right off the bat. He is considered to be a great counterpick regardless of the lane, due to the high flexibility. The Infernal Blade damage and disable coming from his eponymous ultimate is the stuff nightmares are made of! Doom is widely regarded as one of the most effective counters to spell-casting heroes, oh- even the hero is nice!

Doom’s high base armor provides him sustain while fighting or jungling. Doom is known to farm effortlessly right from level one, courtesy of Devour. He is regarded as one of the most deadly disablers in the current meta. Spell-casting heroes hate disabling as it makes them unable to cast any spells, rendering them useless in fights. All it takes is one Blink and Doom to get enemies out of the fight, as most of them virtually have no way to counter Doom.

What Makes Doom a fearsome Jungler?

  • Devour kills creeps instantly, granting gold and him the abilities of the creep.
  • High strength gain and base armor, making it easy for him to jungle without taking much damage.
  • Scorched Earth deals massive AoE damage which accelerates his farming speed.
  • The ultimate Doom is great against mobile/slippery heroes as it silences and mutes them while making them take damage over time.

Top 5 Best End-Game items for Doom

  • Shadow Blade — Provides invisibility on cast which can be used to escape or set up on enemies
  • Blink Dagger — On cast, Blink transports you 1200 units in the distance you are facing, can’t be used for 3 seconds if you take any form of damage. Blink is used to closing the gap and to get on top of enemies, or it can also be used to escape away from them.

  • Black King Bar — Provides spell immunity from all enemy magic damage spells, making him invulnerable in the fight
  • Refresher’s Orb — Can refresh spells and items and use them again in quick succession to delete enemies from the fight

Doom is strong against

  • Tinker — Tinker is heavily dependent on active abilities and Doom prevents him from using any of them.
  • Spectre — Doom can entirely disable Spectre from a teamfight.
  • Arc Warden — Arc Warden relies on items and abilities, as well as his Tempest Double, to deal damage to enemies. Doom effectively denies that and makes Arc Warden useless in fights.

Doom is weak against

  • Lifestealer — Rage allows Lifestealer to become spell-immune to negate the magical damage of Infernal Blade and Scorched Earth.
  • Medusa — Doom does not disable Mana Shield. As such, Doom’s damage is largely mitigated by her mana shield. Additionally, Medusa is not reliant on her abilities to be effective during a teamfight, making Medusa an unproductive hero to target.

Enigma

The mystery of this being lies within the abyss, often known to bend and manipulate time. Enigma is a deadly force that is banned in every other game. He possesses different tools which help him farm faster and more efficiently while also allowing him to split push with the help of his Eidolons. He is known for his threatening ultimate, the Black Hole. It is regarded as one of the best ultimates in the game. It can change the trajectory of the game, and turn around team fights if multiple enemies are caught in it. Enigma ranks number one on this list due to his ability to both teamfight and farm simultaneously.

It’s evident that Enigma is a hero that you see picked often in pub games, but his impact is visible only when he is fighting heroes who are countered by him. Heroes vulnerable to magical damage due to low magic resistance are often the most prioritized by Enigma. He takes advantage of this and quickly disrupts such puny enemies whenever he can. Laning can go either way but Enigma can prevail on top if he has the level advantage, allowing him to shove secure the late game with his abilities.

What Makes Enigma a fearsome Jungler?

  • High base movement speed and intelligence.
  • Amplifies his teamfight potential whenever he acquires his Blink Dagger.
  • The farm can be accelerated with high levels of Demonic Conversion, leading to stronger Eidolons!

  • Guardian Greaves — Upon usage, it heals Enigma and his allies in a radius, along with providing a basic dispel to him. It is a great way to sustain yourself in the late game against lethal opponents.

Enigma is strong against

  • Juggernaut — Enigma’s Black Hole and Midnight Pulse’s damage and disable can pierce through Juggernaut’s Blade Fury.
  • Monkey King — Midnight Pulse can also destroy trees in a wide radius, stunning Monkey King if he happened to be on a tree caught within the AoE.
  • Lifestealer — Lacking any stun and being heavily dependent on his physical attacks and spell immunity, Lifestealer has no way to stop Black Hole, assuming he does not initiate Enigma first with Abyssal Blade.

Enigma is weak against

  • Anti-Mage — In the early game, Anti-Mage’s Mana Void can cancel a Black Hole until Enigma gets Black King Bar.
  • Bristleback — Bristleback’s constant harassment from Quill Spray will greatly hurt Enigma’s laning and kill his Eidolons.

Primal Beast

The newest addition to the game, the threatening and ferocious Primal Beast was one of the most picked heroes of the recent International 10. He was highly picked due to his exceptional damage and crowd control, making him an excellent jungler. He can easily separate the fights with the help of his Onslaught, and deal loads of damage with Trample. He is quite unavoidable if you see his recent pick rate, it has plummeted after finding success at the International.

The best part about Primal Beast is that he does not rely on items to get his work done, all he needs is a few levels and voila, you have yourself a grumpy mighty dinosaur! Primal Beast can also retreat to the jungle and farm if somehow his early game is sabotaged by the enemies. It is a rare scenario but he fares extremely well at farming due to his high AoE spells which allow him to decimate enemies within no time. There are various advantages to picking Primal Beast in the current meta, if you’re not satisfied, there are more reasons below!

What makes Primal Beast a fearsome Jungler?

  • Immense farming capability with AoE damage from his spells.
  • High physical damage right from the get-go, which is only amplified by Uproar.
  • Immense base armor and HP.

  • Heaven’s Halberd — It is used to disarm enemies, making them unable to make physical attacks while Primal and others can freely attack him.

  • Razor — Onslaught prevents all of Razor’s abilities from being effective against him during the laning stage.
  • Juggernaut — Onslaught can be used to cancel Omnislash, and can escape Juggernaut’s, Blade Fury.
  • Phantom Assassin — Phantom Assassin is famously known to be weak against bursts of magical damage, and Primal Beast does exactly that with the ability to close long distances.

Primal Beast is weak against

  • Death Prophet — Silence can be used to interrupt Primal Beast while he is channeling Pulverize.
  • Disruptor — Glimpse can simply send Primal Beast back after using Onslaught to close the gap.
  • Faceless Void — Chronosphere stops Primal Beast from casting abilities or stopping Faceless Void from damaging allies within.

With the incredibly high magic damage being dished out with the help of his ultimate, Nature’s Prophet devastates his foes from the early game. The jungle is his domain, but it isn’t limited to his side of the map! With Global Teleportation, Nature’s Prophet can farm the enemy side of the map or even rat and push towers when the enemy team is busy fighting. • Black King Bar — Provides spell immunity, making Nature’s Prophet invulnerable in the fight.
  • Scythe of Vyse — Upon usage it hexes the targeted unit, essentially making them unable to use spells or items, along with reducing their movement speed for 3.5 seconds.

  • Weaver — Sprout with True Sight items ( Sentry Ward or Dust of Appearance) make it possible to trap Weaver in the lane, unless he buys Quelling Blade or until he unlocks Time Lapse.

Nature’s Prophet is weak against

  • Storm Spirit — Ball Lightning can be used to clear Nature’s Prophet’s Treants and easily destroys Sprout.
  • Shadow Shaman — Shadow Shaman’s Mass Serpent Ward together with Ether Shock can easily kill lots of Treants if played defensively.
  • Doom — Doom and a mini stun from Infernal Blade prevents Nature’s Prophet from escaping with Sprout and Teleportation.

What makes Tiny a good jungler?

Tiny has 2 nukes that allows him to clear camps quickly but he also has mana problems, So, if he is actively laning, using his nukes to clear camp is mostly less than ideal for him. That’s where his 3rd ability comes into play.

This ability allows Tiny to grab a nearby tree and use it as a weapon. This lets Tiny cleave and deal extra damage to all units.

Enchantress is a classic example of deceiving looks. Who would have thought that such a friendly-looking hero can wreak havoc with her damage? Most carry heroes fall prey to this illusion as they find it hard to deal any physical damage to Enchantress due to her Untouchable ability, which reduces the attack speed of heroes trying to attack her. Although most enemies have some form of magic damage with their spells, it is not quite enough to do the job of neutralizing Enchantress.

The menacing Enchantress can withstand the heavy damage dished out by the enemy cores with the help of her Nature’s Attendants ability which heals her and her allies in a small AoE. She can also deal decent damage with Impetus and slow him down with Enchant or use neutrals to help her swindle the squishy enemy heroes. Ench can work smoothly as a roaming and laning support, making her a very flexible pick.

  • Enchant dominates a neutral/enemy creeps for up to 120 seconds, making it easy for her to farm the jungle from level 1.
  • Has a decent heal which makes her sustain while jungling.
  • Impetus makes it easy for her to farm faster.
  • High attack and movement speed.

Top 5 Best End-Game items for Enchantress

  • Holy Locket — Can be used to heal allies or herself on usage, based on the charges which are granted based on enemy hero casting spells, basically a glorified Magic Stick. This provides the tiny bit of sustain and healing required to withstand enemy damage.
  • Glimmer Cape — If enemies initiate you or your allies without any disabling items then you can quickly get away with using Glimmer, it is an essential item on support Enchantress.
  • Dragon Lance — Provides increased stats and regen along with increased attack range. Enchantress isn’t a tanky hero, but an early-game Dragon Lance assures she does not get prioritized by enemies in fights. It can further be upgraded into a Hurricane Pike.
  • Heaven’s Halberd — It is used to disarm enemies, making them unable to make physical attacks while Ench and others can freely attack him.
  • Ghost Scepter — The scepter makes you immune to physical attacks while making you unable to attack at the same time. You also take increased magical damage under its duration. Enemies do virtually zero damage if you have Ghost Scepter.
  • Solar Crest — Solar Crest grants armor, attack speed, and movement speed to the targeted ally while reducing the same stats if used upon enemies. This makes them unable to stand firm in teamfights.

Enchantress is strong against

  • Lycan — Lycan relies heavily on right clicks making Untouchable very effective against him.
  • Ember Spirit — Impetus will deal huge amounts of damage when he uses a Fire Remnant to escape.
  • Ursa — Enchant can dispel Overpower, and Enchant’s slow can help kite Ursa in fights and also in the lane.

  • Broodmother — Enchantress can be easily overwhelmed with Broodmother’s spiderlings from Spawn Spiderlings and Enchantress can only control one of them with Enchant and she has no good wave clear (Spawn Spiderlings can also kill creeps controlled with Enchant).
  • Juggernaut — Blade Fury dispels the slow from Enchant and can burst Enchantress down during the laning stage.
  • Nyx Assassin — Vendetta breaks Untouchable and deals great damage against her.

Slark

Slark, the Nightcrawler. Posing for Naga Siren.

Did you happen to win your lane against this slicky little bugger? He has no items, he surely cannot come back from this, right?

Well, sadly, he can. As soon as Slark hits level 6, he becomes one of the fastest junglers in the game. Does not matter what happens in his lane, if his team can hold its own, the cheeky little fish can comeback from the worst of starts.

What makes him a good jungler?

  • Slark already has an aoe nuke as his first spell, called Dark Pact.
  • The only thing he lacks till level 6 to clear camps is health regen. And he gets that when he unlocks his ultimate, which provides him a nice amount of health regeneration as long as he is out of enemy vision.

The vision part also turns him into a walking ward detector and you can always know whether you are safe farming in that enemy jungle camp!

  • Damages nearby enemies by: 75/150/225/300
  • Effect Delay: 1.5 seconds

If slark is out of enemy vision

Slark can also activate this ability and create a dark cloud of shadows, this shadow will make slark invisible and immune to detection, he also cannot be targeted during the duration.

Chen is criminally underrated, as most players fear to understand his true potential. As overwhelming as it may sound, Chen is one of the best junglers and early game gankers present in the game. His items provide him with plenty of heals and escape!

Why makes Chen a great jungler?

  • Holy Persuasion converts jungle creeps into allied units controlled by Chen, allowing him to farm with them.
  • The abilities of the creeps can be used to jungle, gank, or push lanes.
  • Can build utility items, which provide armor, heal, and magic resistance.

What a lethal force of nature Beastmaster is! His ferocious abilities and vigor have made him into a primal killing machine! He is by far one of the most threatening heroes in the game! Beastmaster is primarily played in the offlane due to his split pushing and initiating abilities, though he can also jungle effortlessly thanks to his Wild Boar. His attack speed is also amplified by his abilities, allowing both him and his allies to hit faster. Beastmaster snowballs right after a few kills, his ganking potential is insane after a few essential item purchases.

Beastmaster also does not fall off in the game’s late stages due to his relevant spells. Primal Roar pierce spell immunity, meaning it can be used without worrying even if the enemy has a Black King Bar on. This allows the mighty Beastmaster to separate certain heroes from the teamfight even in the later stages of the game. There are various reasons why Beastmaster is top 5 on this list, you can find some compelling reasons below!

  • Mostly builds utility items, supplementing his team’s abilities.
  • Wild Boar helps with jungling and the Hawk provides the vision that can alert Beastmaster or his allies from enemy invasion.
  • He can teamfight as soon as he acquires his ultimate, which is essential in controlling the crowd during teamfights.
  • High base attack speed, damage, and armor.

Top 5 Best End-Game items for Beastmaster

  • Helm of the Overlord — It is the upgraded version of Helm of the Dominator, which essentially allows Beastmaster to dominate an Ancient Creep while granting it various buffs under its control.
  • Drums of Endurance — Upon usage, it increases the attack and movement speed of Beastmaster and his allies in an AoE. This can be cast during a teamfight or to escape from one!
  • Black King Bar — Provides spell immunity, making Beastmaster invulnerable in the fight.
  • Wraith Pact — On activation, the Pact summons a movable totem that deals 30 DPS and reduces 30% of the damage dealt by enemies in a certain radius. This makes it great against both magical and physical damage heroes.

Beastmaster is strong against

  • Monkey King — Wild Axes can knock out Monkey King from a tree. The Hawk can easily find Monkey King while he is sitting on a tree.
  • Troll Warlord — Primal Roar and the slow from Boars make kiting Troll Warlord very easy.
  • Wraith King — Wraith King’s lack of area of effect spells makes him easily overwhelmed by Beastmaster’s summons.

Beastmaster is weak against

  • Abbadon — Aphotic Shield effectively nullifies Primal Roar’s single-target initiation on allies.
  • Winter Wyvern — Cold Embrace mitigates Primal Roar’s single-target initiation on allies.
  • Timbersaw -Reactive Armor is very effective against Beastmaster’s summons during the laning stage and the entire game.

Lone Druid

This wise and kind Druid isn’t lonely by any means! His pet bear takes care of any problems that come his way. What makes Lone Druid a great jungler?

Ostarion, the Wraith King in a scary looking set from his wardrobe.

The king reigns both on the lanes and the jungle! If you are not against any heroes that can drain mana like Lion or Anti-Mage, Wraith King is a pretty safe carry pick. His ultimate is basically and Aegis of the Immortal for Roshan’s sake!

What makes Wraith King a good jungler?

The main reason this bad boy can jungle faster and better than the rest is because of his 2 beasty passive spells.

Normally, the Vampiric Aura could be enough by itself to effectively jungle but the King has a second spell to make things even smoother.

Chen starts pretty slow in the early game, but with enough farm and levels can assist his allies in ganking and providing various items and auras. A late-game Chen isn’t squishy anymore, if he is farmed enough, he turns into the fourth and much-required core for a squishy lineup.

Chen is a devastating entity in the late game, his spells are amplified further with his lethal talent tree. He is highly dominant, and can catch multiple enemies off-guard at once if he has the right creeps in his zoo! There are various playstyles to Chen, even if you aren’t exceptional at micro, you can still play a different build of Chen which does not rely on his Zoo creeps. This immense flexibility proves Chens is an ideal fit regardless of the matchup.

What Makes Chen a fearsome Jungler?

  • Holy Persuasion converts jungle creeps into allied units controlled by Chen, allowing him to farm with them.
  • The abilities of the creeps can be used to jungle, gank, or push lanes.
  • Can build utility items, which provide armor, healing, and magic resistance.
  • Chen can also be an impressive team fighter right from the early game with his controlled creeps.

Top 5 Best End-Game items for Chen

  • Solar Crest — Solar Crest grants armor, attack speed, and movement speed to the targeted ally while reducing the same stats if used upon enemies. This makes them unable to stand firm in teamfights.
  • Guardian Greaves — Upon usage, it heals Enigma and his allies in a radius, along with providing a basic dispel to him. It is a great way to sustain yourself in the late game against lethal opponents.
  • Wraith Pact — On activation, the Pact summons a movable totem that deals 30 DPS and reduces 30% of the damage dealt by enemies in a certain radius. This makes it great against both magical and physical damage heroes.
  • Force Staff — Allows you to force yourself or the targeted unit 600 units ahead in the direction they are facing, it can be useful to catch or escape from enemies.

  • Bane — Bane has zero Spells to deal with multiple Chen’s Creeps.

Chen is weak against

  • Sven — Great Cleave and God’s Strength can destroy Chen and his creeps quickly.
  • Monkey King — Monkey King can kill Chen or any of his allies with his physical damage burst from Boundless Strike and Jingu Mastery before he can use the Hand of God.

Tresdin, the war commander has slain more foes on the battlefield than anyone else on this list. Her grit and vigor have resulted in abilities that make her invincible. She leaves no stone unturned when it comes to the battlefield. Legion Commander is known to lock enemies down and deal some serious damage to them. She is a nuisance right from the first initial levels, AoE damage and lifesteal allow her to sustain and deal damage in the lane as well as in the jungle. If you get enough Dual damage, you just might one-shot the enemy support!

Legion Commander is one of those rare heroes who can jungle right from the early game. Primarily played in the offlane, Legion can always retire to the jungle if she faces a tough laning phase. Her Movement of Courage and Press The Attack offers her enough sustain to stand her ground in both the jungle and in teamfights. She is highly picked in pubs when a team is lacking a damage dealer and crowd control component. Legion Commander only gets stronger as the game progresses, there is no way you can stop her wrath if she accumulates enough damage!

What Makes Legion Commander a fearsome Jungler?

Top 5 Best End-Game items for Legion Commander

  • Blink Dagger — On cast, Blink transports Legion Commander 1200 units in the distance she is facing, can’t be used for 3 seconds if she takes any form of damage. Blink is used to close the gap and to get on top of enemies to use Duel, or it can also be used to escape away from them.
  • Blademail — Reflects enemy damage to them upon activation.
  • Black King Bar — It provides Legion with spell immunity from all of the enemy’s magic damage spells, making her invulnerable in the fight.
  • Heaven’s Halberd — Upon cast, it disarms the targeted hero, making them unable to attack while Legion can freely attack them. Halberd can be used before using Duel to ensure Legion does not end up taking a ton of damage.
  • Assault Cuirass — Increases armor and attack speed for Legion Commander while reducing the same for enemies in an AoE.

Legion Commander is strong against

  • Chen — Overwhelming Odds and Moment of Courage can take advantage of converted creeps’ numbers.
  • Sniper — Sniper’s low mobility and lack of defensive abilities make him an easy gank target for the entire game, especially if Blink Dagger is picked up.
  • Viper — Viper’s frailty and low mobility make him an enticing Duel target and Corrosive Skin doesn’t protect him against Legion Commander’s physical attacks.

Legion Commander is weak against

  • Abbadon — Borrowed Time makes Abaddon nearly impossible to kill in Duels, and often replenishes much of his health because Legion Commander cannot manually stop attacking during Duels.
  • Luna — A well-timed Eclipse before a Duel usually prevents Legion Commander from winning Duels, if Luna is the target.
  • Mars — Because Duel requires both combatants to face each other, Bulwark’s effectiveness will be increased by a huge margin, which makes it much more difficult for Legion Commander to win any duels against him.

Which Are The Best Jungler Heroes in Dota 2?

Welcome to the Jungle! There are neutral camps and safety!

Are you having a tough lane or dominating your lane to a point that your enemies stopped laning? In both cases, jungling can be a good option to free up a lane for your supports to farm.

Jungling is also a bit more safer than laning as you will be off the map and the enemy will need to spend more resources to gank you!

Unfortunately, jungling from level 1 is quite hard these days, there were heroes that could jungle from level 1 like Enigma and Chen but even they cannot do that anymore.

Do not fret though, even though you cannot effectively jungle from level 1, you can always switch to jungle after getting to a certain level and farm as fast as you would be farming in a lane!

Of course, there are some heroes that can do this better than the rest, and we will be taking a look at them today!

Shadow Fiend

Nevermore, the Shadow Fiend, reaching for the last soul on the table.

An all time middle lane favorite. Just like the guy above, even if this fellow loses his lane, with some supports who were nice enough to stack for him, he can bounce right back up.

What makes Shadow Fiend a good jungler?

  • The main reason is that he does not only pack one nuke ability, not even two, he has 3 nukes that he can use back to back. This makes him the “Clearer of Stacks.”
  • He can also use his nuke to shove up lanes and clear jungle camps without losing anything in the lane.
  • He also has an ability, which lets him store the souls of units that he kills, these souls give him extra Attack Damage.
  • Shadow razes have a Base Damage of 90/160/230/300.
  • Each shadow raze applies a debuff that increases the damage of the other successful shadow razes by 50/60/70/80.
  • Necromastery allows Shadow Fiend to store 12/20/28/36 souls.
  • Each soul gives Shadow Fiend 2 Attack Damage.
