So many of us 10k hours players are getting VAC error message and BEING 1 to 4k
U THINK WE CHEATED TO GET 3K MMR ? C’MON GUYS just stop patching a retarded visual effect that locks out 10% of your customers

I just uninstalled and re installed it on a different drive and it works normal for me now.

I had the same problem and tried literally everything, Finally got it working after going to dota’s game files and deleting the «bin» folder and after that verifying game files. Hope this helps 🙂

Valve Anti-Cheat was unable to verify that your machine is secure
I need help trying to fix my Dota 2. I’m trying to play a game but i get an error popping up «Valve Anti-Cheat was unable to verify that your machine is secure». It only started to pop up after the latest update/new event. I have tried uninstalling the game and still have the same issue. Does anyone know a fix?

I had same problem 2 years ago.
Wrote Valve a ticket.
They told me to ignore it.
Sadly soon as click Find match the message comes up. I click «More info» nothing happens, and if i click «close» i try find a match it pops up again

I just had it pop up randomly 4-5 times not everytime.

haven’t play for 6 month and today I want to play for first time, and I encounter this issue
already clean re-installing
at first I can find match, but I stop and close the game because I only test it
I want to play at a later time
Now the problem persists again, I don’t want to re-download 50gb again
Please fix it valve
I suggest go verify intergrity of files then restart steam. If didn’t fix i suggest restart your pc
Verified files, restarted computer, redownloaded the game. Still the same problem. Any other fixes out there?

Mine already working
here’s how
Open Steam
Open Dota2
Proceed to Find Match
Error
Close Dota 2
Open the dota2beta folder on steamapps while Steam still open < important
Delete the bin folder inside dota2beta folder
Try to play Dota2 again after delete the folder
Dota2 will try to re-acquire the bin folder
Wait for it to finish download
Try to find match again
Mine work like that, hopefully yours too
