Zheng MidOne Yek Nai — is a Malaysian professional Dota 2 player who is willing to take any role in a team according to its needs. He was best known for playing as a member of Team Secret, where he won 3 majors and reached sixth and fourth place at The International. Signature heroes are considered to be: Ember Spirit, Invoker, Outworld Destroyer.

MidOne started his cybersport career back in the DotA era, participating in semi-professional tournaments since his childhood. However, it wasn’t until after graduation in 2015 that Zheng decided to seriously dedicate himself to cybersports. Together with his friends, he founded Team DOT and immediately won the Mountain Dew Dota 2 Challenge 2015 regional qualifications. Subsequently, they also dominated the grand finals of this tournament, earning 60,000 ringgit for their team. Such incredible talent could not go unnoticed and Fnatic management invited MidOne to join their roster, making them part of one of the best teams in the region.

Shortly after MidOne’s transition to the new team, he led it to victory in The Shanghai Major 2016 qualifiers and finished 5th-6th in the main stage of that tournament. In April 2016, he became the first player with an MMR rating of 8,000 points in Southeast Asia. During the season, Team Fnatic finished third at ESL One Manila 2016 and StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 2, and reached sixth place at The Manila Major 2016. The collective won a slot at The International 2016 by finishing second at the qualifiers. At the event itself, it exceeded expectations, reaching fourth place and earning nearly $1.5 million.

Since 2022, MidOne played for Team SMG. After The International 12, the player joined Team Secret, with whom he successfully qualified for European qualification at ESL One: Kuala Lumpur 2023.

He currently plays for Team Secret.

Long-time professional Dota 2 player Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng doesn’t just spend his days destroying Ancients — he explores the vast world of Genshin Impact’s Teyvat as well.

The ex-OG Esports offlaner is known throughout the Dota 2 community as one of the best Invoker players in the scene alongside Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi, Abed Azel Yusop, and TI10 champion Alexander “Torontotokyo” Khertek.

On his list of achievements, MidOne was the first player to hit 8,000 MMR on the Southeast Asia server and has bagged three Dota 2 Major championship titles at The Chongqing Major, the MDL Disneyland Paris Major, and DreamLeague Season 8 during his time with Team Secret.

Apart from Dota, he also plays Call of Duty: Warzone, and Genshin Impact.

Constellations are upgrades that improve a character’s set of talents. Each newly acquired Genshin character starts at constellation 0.

Players can only unlock each constellation by acquiring another copy of the character, which they have to roll for, up to a maximum of six.

1. Snowswept SakuraWhen Kamisato Ayaka’s Normal or Charged Attacks deal Cryo DMG to opponents, it has a 50% chance of decreasing the CD of Kamisato Art: Hyouka by 0.3s. This effect can occur once every 0.1s.
2. Blizzard Blade Seki no ToSeki no To When casting Kamisato Art: Soumetsu, unleashes 2 smaller additional Frostflake Seki no To, each dealing 20% of the original storm’s DMG.
3. Frostbloom KamifubukiIncreases the Level of Kamisato Art: Soumetsu by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
4. Ebb and FlowOpponents damaged by Kamisato Art: Soumetsu’s Frostflake Seki no To will have their DEF decreased by 30% for 6s.
5. Bloom Cloud IrutsukiIncreases the Level of Kamisato Art: Hyouka by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
6. Dance of SuigetsuKamisato Ayaka gains Usurahi Butou every 10s, increasing her Charged Attack DMG by 298%. This buff will be cleared 0.5s after Ayaka’s Charged ATK hits an opponent, after which the timer for this ability will restart.

Similar to Filipino actor and Genshin whale Alden Richards and his C6 Ayato, the pro player probably spent an estimated amount of US$3,000 to get a C6 Kamisato Ayaka in a worst-case scenario.

This estimated computation does not include the free Primogems that can be obtained through quests, Masterless Starglitters that can be converted to Intertwined Fates, and the extra Genesis Crystals that come with certain top-ups.

MidOne has yet to reveal his total and official spending in the game. However, one thing is for sure — his love for Ayaka is immeasurable.

Aside from Ayaka, he also owns two other 5-star characters, Diluc and Mona, and has plenty of 4-stars in his party such as Sayu, Sucrose, Xingqiu, Rosaria, Bennett, and Xiangling. MidOne’s account was level 40 at world level 5 at the time of writing.

His former teammate, Martin “Saksa” Sazdov, marveled at the rarity of his tweet rather than the impressive C6 Kamisato Ayaka.

“You gotta play it, Martin,” he convinced his friend. “Get your waifu going.”

Aside from MidOne, Alliance’s Henrik “Admiral Bulldog” Ahnberg has also played Genshin.
