Ivan «Pure~» Moskalenko — off laner of BB team
Ivan appeared in esports in 2021. He represented various little-known mixes, performed at tournaments in Vladivostok and the Southeast Asian region. In November, he was invited to Virtus.pro, passed the test and became an official player of the team. As part of the Bears, he managed to become the bronze medalist of the DPC EEU 2021/2022 Tour 1: Division I, reach the final of the DPC EEU 2021/2022 Tour 1: Regional Final.
At the end of April 2022, a serious scandal erupted around Ivan. During the official match against the Mind Games, while discussing the team plan, the player drew the letter «Z» on the minimap. The teammates immediately covered up the symbol, but Maincast commentators drew attention to the image and called for the team to be disqualified.
On social media, Pure apologized, pointed out that he made the drawing unconsciously, without any intention. However, the very next day he was fired from Virtus.pro, the club condemned the actions of the esportsman and stated that he was opposed to inciting discord and hatred. Despite this move, Valve removed the Bears from qualifying.
In May, Ivan got a place in Entity, entered the top 4 of DPC WEU 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I. In October, the team performed at The International 2022 and placed 9th-12th.
In July 2023, Pure again undermined its reputation. Together with BetBoom, he fought against Tundra Esports in the first round of the Bali Major 2023 winner bracket. During the break, the esportsman went to Alexander «Nix» Levin’s stream, who was covering the game at that time. Since such actions are prohibited by the rules of the competition, the organizers awarded the team a technical defeat. BetBoom ended up in the lower bracket, lost to Azure Ray in the first round and left the tournament. The team lost the DPC points earned in the competition.
At the end of October 2021, Pure reached 11,000 MMR. In November, the player took 12th place in the European ladder.
BetBoom Team offlaner Ivan «Pure» Moskalenko may receive a long-term disqualification at The Bali Major 2023 Dota 2 tournaments.
If cheating is detected during the tournament, the results of the corresponding matches will be cancelled. The player will be disqualified, forfeited and suspended from all competitions, typically for up to five years. The duration may be reduced if there are extenuating circumstances, or increased if there are aggravating circumstances.
Earlier, tournament operator IO Esports banned Moskalenko from participating in the playoffs due to an incident that occurred in a match with Tundra Esports. Instead, Roman «Resolut1on» Fominok played for BetBoom Team, but the team lost to Azure Ray and was eliminated from the tournament.
The Bali Major 2023 runs from June 29 to July 9 in Indonesia. The top teams in the regional leagues are competing for $500,000 and 3,500 DPC points. After the tournament, all owners of direct invitations to The International 2023 will be known.

Maelstorm: «9Pandas and Larl without visas yet»
BetBoom Team Operations Director Gleb «cenra» Antokhin said that all the team’s players got visas the first time. Pure will play in the USA for the first time in their career.
This season, Moskalenko was denied a visa only once. It happened before the start of the ESL One Berlin Major in Germany. Then Roman «Resolut1on» Fominok helped the BB Team.
