Tranquil Boots Dota 2

Tranquil Boots Dota 2 Дота

General terminology

The basic concepts of Dota 2 game mechanics that you need to know. Details are in the following articles.

(aggro) — an indicator that is responsible for the likelihood that your hero will be attacked by AI-controlled buildings or monsters. If enemy units (non-heroes) start hitting your character, congratulations, you got aggro. The same applies to towers. Usage example: «I have aggro, heal me!».

(artifact, art) — one of the options for the name of game items. In the broad sense of the word, art is any item that gives any bonuses (an increase in characteristics, unique effects, additional abilities). It is on the right choice and timely assembly of artifacts that the successful development of your hero is based. Usage example: «Does anyone know what art my hero should collect?».

(Area of Effect) — the area affected by certain spells. The AoE abilities of some heroes and items can, for example, deal damage to several enemies at once or impose some kind of curse on them. Usage example: «Take heroes with strong AoE spells — we’ll drag them in battles!».

(buff) — any buff or buff spell. Buffs give a variety of bonuses — from additional attack speed to damage resistance. Buffer is a player who specializes in buffing allies. Usage example: «Throw buffs on me, now there will be a battle!».

(carry) — a type of especially strong and dangerous heroes, whose potential is revealed in the later stages of the game. Carries are those characters that are able to «pull» the game out of the most unfavorable scenario, provided that they get enough experience and gold. Players who take on the role of a carry in a team should focus on getting gold efficiently and avoiding death. We will talk more about this in the corresponding article. Usage example: «We need to kill their carries before they swing, otherwise we’ll lose in 10 minutes.»

(caster, magician) — a hero whose main striking force is spells. As a rule, caster heroes have a large pool of mana, a variety of spells and a short cooldown — this allows them to shower the enemy team with magic. Usage example: «They have a lot of casters in the team — collect things for magic resistance!».

(CD, CD) — the time it takes to recharge one or another ability of the hero. Usage example: «I have Ravage on CD, don’t attack yet!».

(creeps) — allied units that help you make your way to the enemy base. They line up with heroes and fight side by side against enemy creeps and heroes. In other words, creeps are “extras” in Dota 2, cannon fodder, which you help to demolish enemy buildings. In addition, enemy creeps are the main source of gold in Dota 2. Usage example: “Now our creeps will approach their tower — we’ll take it down and leave.”

(creep stats, creep score, CS, creepstat) — the number of enemy or neutral creeps that your hero managed to finish off. The higher the CS, the more gold your character has. Crypstat is usually a measure of productivity among carry heroes. The number of killed creeps is displayed in the lower right corner of the interface. Usage example: “How are you, Sven? What CS?

(debuff, curse) — any negative effect or spell. The exact opposite of a buff — it weakens your hero and / or prevents you from using certain abilities. Usage example: «I have a debuff on me — I have to wait until it ends.»

(deny, finishing move) — killing an allied creep so that his experience and money do not go to the enemy. When a friendly creep drops below half health, you gain the ability to deal damage to him: landing the last hit on him will not only put the poor creature out of his misery, but also prevent opponents from getting his money and experience. One of the main duties of lane support heroes is to last hit their creeps. In some cases, you can finish off an allied hero in a similar way. Usage example: «What are you waiting for, scarecrow, deny creeps!».

(Damage over Time, dot) — a spell or effect that deals damage gradually over time. The opposite of a nuke (nuke — more on that below), which does all the damage at once. Usage example: “I have a lot of pillboxes on me, heal me, bl#$%!”.

(farming, farming) — the process of earning gold. It doesn’t matter how the hero gets gold: from last hitting creeps in the lane, from shredding neutral monsters in the jungle, or through killing enemy heroes, he gets money for all this. The better the farm, the faster expensive and powerful artifacts will appear in the hero’s inventory, which will help him to destroy enemies even more effectively. Farm is the ultimate holy word for any carry hero. Usage example: «Let me farm in peace — I’ll buy Heart of Tarrasque in three minutes.»

(first blood, fb, first blood) — the very first kill in the match, opening the score. The player who does this gets a lot more gold per frag and quickly pulls ahead. F B on your team’s account is a great start to the game. Usage example: «Sit in the woods and don’t fall. Now the gavriks will fit — we will make a FB.

(feeder, feed) — a player who dies too often, which gives an advantage to the enemy team. In Dota 2, staying alive is somewhat more important than killing enemy heroes: if you often “surrender” to enemies, you will not only lose your own money and experience, but also let your entire team down. Usage example: “Stop feeding them, you fucking feeders! Let’s lose!»

(gang kill, gank, gang) — a strategy in which several heroes unite to surprise attack the enemy and (ideally) kill him. If on the mini-map you see how opponents gather around your hero, know that you are going to be “ganked”. Usage example: «Need a gang on the bottom — urgently, otherwise it will swing!».

(megacreep) — enhanced version of the regular creep. When your team manages to break into the enemy base and destroy all the melee or ranged barracks, much stronger units will begin to be born from your side. The enemy will receive less gold for them, and their strength will cause them a lot of problems. Usage example: “Tear down the barracks, quickly! Now megacreeps will be trampled — and that’s it!

(nuke) — a spell that instantly deals a large amount of damage. Many hero abilities in Dota 2 are nukes — they are quite easy to use, which is convenient for constantly harassing enemy heroes. The opposite of DotA (DoT). Usage example: «Don’t fall for their nukes — you’ll run out of heals soon.»

(pet, minion) — a creature that the hero summons for a while and that fights on his side. Some heroes (Nature Prophet, Visage, Beast Master, Warlock and others) have the ability to summon creatures to help them in battle — together with the support of allied creeps, such a shock unit is a real threat to the tower. Usage example: «Everyone quickly go upstairs, there Warlock with a pet will now demolish the tower!».

(roamer, ganker) — a hero who almost does not stand on his lane, but runs around the map, helping allies to kill enemy characters. Largely thanks to the efforts of the roamer, the team manages to consistently gank the enemy heroes, but you need to be able to play this role. Usage example: «Choose a roamer only if your arms are straight.»

(silence, fat, silence) — a special effect (debuff) that prohibits the hero from using spells for a limited time. A real problem for heroes who rely mainly on the strength of their abilities in battle: a well-timed silence can disable one or another character. Usage example: «I couldn’t do anything with him, he hung bacon on me.»

(solo) — a strategy in which one hero swings on the line. On the one hand, in this case, he gets more experience (in Dota 2, experience from killing creeps is shared among all allied heroes nearby). On the other hand, standing in lane against two opponents at once is much more difficult. Usage example: «I’m solo down — don’t borrow!».

(streak) — a series of murders. If you manage to kill enemy heroes and stay alive, you gain a streak — for game balance, the bounty on your head also increases with each frag. Thus, the more kills you manage to make during one life, the more your streak and the more gold the enemy will get, who will eventually bring you down from heaven to earth. Usage example: “They ate an alchemist — he needs to break the streak urgently!”.

(stun, stun) — stun effect. A stunned enemy cannot move, attack, or use abilities — for a limited time, he is completely defenseless. Usage example: «Throw a camp at him, now let’s take the boy!».

(support, support) — a hero who specializes in supporting allies in battle. Carry Heroes’ Best Friend: Supports tend to be very vulnerable and don’t actively kill enemy characters, but they help teammates a lot. Without good supports, it is extremely difficult to win in Dota 2, so this role should not be underestimated. We will talk more about support heroes in the corresponding article. Usage example: «We have two carries and a roamer — get supports.»

(tank, fat) — a hero who has a large supply of health and / or abilities that provide high survivability in battle. Usage example: «You’re a tank — collect Blade Mail, you won’t regret it!».

(teamkill, teamwipe) — a situation where you manage to kill the entire enemy team. A great time to safely kill Roshan or take out an enemy base. Usage example: «If you do everything right, there will be a team kill — then we’ll go to their base.»

Новости:  Автоатака не работает. Нет скорости двигаться в сторону доты 2

(tower, tower, tower, ziggurat) is the main defensive structure in Dota 2 that deals high damage and prevents you from entering the enemy base. The game boils down to destroying all the enemy’s towers along one or more lines and destroying his main building. Destroying towers gives gold to the whole team. We will also talk about them in future articles. Usage example: «Tear down the tower while they’re all upstairs.»

(triple) — a strategy in which three heroes stand on the same line at the same time on the same side. Everyone gets less experience, but such a team has a better chance of killing the enemy hero and defending themselves in case of an attack. Usage example: «They have a triple upstairs — it’s hard for me here, help!».

(trusite, anti-invisibility, fawn) — an effect that makes it possible to see invisible heroes. A real headache for heroes who rely on invisibility. True Sight gives some abilities and items. Usage example: «There are only rats in their team, buy everything fawn!».

Card

What you need to know about Dota 2 geography.

(bottom line, bot, bottom, bottom line) — oddly enough, the line located below.

(evil, skars) — one of the two sides of the Dota 2 conflict, the opposite of Radiant. Their base is located in the upper right corner of the map.

(forest, forest, jungle) — an area in which neutral monsters respawn, killing which brings experience and money — just like the death of creeps in the lane. We will talk about how to swing safely in the forest in the following articles.

(line, line, side) — one of the three creep movement directions. There are three main lines — central (mid), lower (bot) and upper (top).

(Middle Line, mid, center) — the central line, it is also the shortest. As a rule, in the first minutes of the game, it is in this direction that a duel of two heroes unfolds — one from each side.

(top line, top, top) — the top line. Nuff said.

(kind, cents) — one of the two sides of the Dota 2 conflict, the opposite of Dire. Their base is located in the lower left corner of the map.

(barracks, barracks) — buildings located at the base that produce creeps. Two barracks are attached to each line — for ranged and melee units. Losing barracks from a lane causes the enemy creeps in that lane to become much stronger, which greatly reduces the chances of winning.

(Rosh, Rosh) — a unique and very strong monster, killing which gives gold to the whole team. In addition, Roshan drops the Aegis of Immortal item, which gives its owner the ability to immediately revive after death and return to battle with full strength. Killing Roshan can turn the whole match around. We will also talk about it in a separate article.

(rune) — a special item that gives temporary bonuses. Every two minutes, one rune appears on the map. There are two places of her appearance (chosen randomly) — both places are located on the river, dividing the Dota 2 map into two equal parts. There are five types of runes in total: Rune of Haste (gives maximum movement speed), Rune of Regeneration (restores your health and mana in a few seconds), Rune of Illusions (creates two copies of your hero), Rune of Double Damage (suddenly — doubles your damage), Rune of Invisibility (we think you already understand).

(secret store, forest store) — a special place on the map where you can buy the most powerful and expensive items needed to create the most powerful and expensive artifacts. There are two stores, one on each side.

(side shop, side shop) — a shop with a limited assortment of items, which is located on the side lines.

(wardplace) — a special place on the map, where it is convenient to place an Observer Ward, which gives visibility in a small area. Only four wardplaces are marked with special signs on the Dota 2 map, but in fact there are many more of them — experiment! We will also talk with you in more detail about the correct placement of the Observer Ward.

Ability

Tranquil Boots in Dota 2 provides the wearer with a 14 health regeneration bonus. If the hero is attacked, then the regeneration effect disappears, and the hero’s movement speed is also reduced by 25 units.

Tips

It is recommended to ensure that the attacks of enemy heroes do not hit the carrier of the artifact.

When farming in the jungle, you can place an item before attacking creeps. After that, simply raise the Tranquils, where there will be no recharge: health will begin to recover.
