They won’t steal. Boosters do not have access to your soap (and of course you should not give it to them). And of course your passwords on soap and steam should be different. If they try to change the password, you can stop it. In a word, it will be very difficult to throw you on an account.

In this situation, you can do 2 things: 1) Transfer all valuable gear to another account. 2) Enable «Parental Control» — a new feature in steam (to access it you need to enable the beta test in the settings). The second ones are usually thrown, but the first ones do not guarantee the safety of your things. Now I will explain to you how to deal with fewer losses when meeting with a «scammer». Usually «scammers» are schoolchildren. And schoolchildren are «bad» players in 90% of cases. When talking with the booster, ask for a Skype call where you will verbally discuss all the details. At this stage, people who have not previously been involved in boosting usually merge or become nervous during a conversation and betray their intentions in different ways. Confident people speak loudly and clearly. With such, if you want, you can continue to do business. Next, you should ask where is the guarantee that he will not leave with your money. He will either provide proof that he is an honest booster (although proofs can be fake OFK) or, more acceptable, he will solve this problem together with you. When I was approached for a boost, I spoke about a method that satisfied almost everyone. On the example of one girl (the first one who asked me this question):

She asked for a guarantee that I would not leave with her money (I wanted a boost from 3k to 4k). Naturally, I could not give her any guarantees, except for my word of honor. How did we do? I told her that she would make an advance payment for 100 pts, so that if I «run away» she would lose a small amount. After completing these 100 pts, she already saw that I 1) I can boost her account (and I don’t pretend) 2) That I didn’t cheat on her for money. But she still refused to give the whole amount, and paid only half, saying that the rest after completing this part. Well, I agreed because it was fair. Having finished her up to 3600 pts, I received the rest of the amount and with a calm soul made 4k pts

Since then, if I deal with boosting, I stick to this scheme. And if you want to order boosting from someone, but do not trust him, I advise you to stick to this method. With it, your losses will be minimal in the case of a «scam». I don’t want people to know that my account is being boosted!:
